Sarti Powell - Academic Support

Sarti knows first-hand how important it is to really get to know your students if you want to help them. She has taught since 1991 and that is why she loves offering support and intervention at all grade levels. As the Elementary School’s Dean of Students and coordinator of the Response to Intervention (RTI) program, she knows it is about helping kids succeed. Powell points out at that larger schools may have to limit intervention to the first few years. “Our team can provide assistance in every  grade levels so students can reach their full potential.” By constantly monitoring performance data, the school knows it is working.
